I think this has always been a trend. However it seems like more, and more, people are taking advantage of their famous parent's status. There is no better way to get on the red carpet (with Demi) or get invited to a fashion show (with Anna) then going with your famous parent. That said, famous parents seem hard to come by these days. I think Angelina but be looking for a new adpotie though, so there is still hope.
